Privacy Policy

Second Look™ ("the Service") is operated by MojoBlu LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). The Service helps you analyze sales pages and marketing copy for persuasion tactics before you buy.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it. Given that the entire premise of Second Look is informed decision-making, we've tried to write this so you can actually make one.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you purchase Second Look and create an account, we collect:

  • Email address — used to create your account, log you in, and send transactional emails (login links, receipts, important service notices)
  • Purchase information — when you buy through Gumroad, Gumroad notifies us of your purchase (your email and order details) so we can credit your account with analyses. We do not receive or store your payment card information; that is handled entirely by Gumroad.

Content you submit

When you run an analysis, you submit either:

  • Text — sales copy, marketing emails, or other content you paste in, or
  • A URL — a publicly accessible web page you want analyzed, which our systems fetch and process

Submitted content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your analysis. We store your submissions and their results in your account history so you can refer back to them.

Be sensible about what you submit. The Service is designed for analyzing marketing and sales materials. Don't paste in content containing your own (or anyone else's) sensitive personal information — there's no reason an analysis of a sales page needs your Social Security number in it.

Technical information

  • Authentication data — we use Supabase for authentication and data storage; standard session and security data (such as login tokens) is processed to keep your account secure
  • Hosting logs — the Service is hosted on Vercel, which may collect technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and operational purposes
  • Cookies — we use only the cookies necessary for authentication and keeping you logged in. We do not run advertising trackers or marketing pixels.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Track your analysis credits and usage
  • Generate and store your analyses
  • Send transactional emails (login, receipts, service notices)
  • Maintain the security and operation of the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your submitted content for advertising. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. AI Processing

Analyses are generated using Anthropic's API. Your submitted content is transmitted to Anthropic for processing and is subject to Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy practices. Under those terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models by default.

4. Third-Party Services

Second Look is built on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

We share with these providers only what is necessary for them to perform their function.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Analysis history (submissions and results) is retained in your account so you can access past analyses.
  • Account deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@mojoblu.com. We will delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Purchase records held by Gumroad are governed by Gumroad's policies.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may have legal rights regarding your personal information depending on where you live, including rights to access, correct, delete, or export it. To exercise any of these, email support@mojoblu.com — we honor access, correction, and deletion requests regardless of your location.

For EU/UK users (GDPR): Our lawful bases are contract performance (providing the Service you purchased) and legitimate interests (security and service operation).

For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), token-based authentication, and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we minimize what we collect and limit who can touch it.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@mojoblu.com and we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States (and wherever our service providers operate), which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be flagged by email or an in-app notice.
